When a defender is pinching hard in the C Gap it makes a kickout block almost impossible, but it makes the block for the Tight End or H Back on the Pin and Pull much easier. This can be an issue if the defender is coming hard into the C Gap. On Power we are asking our H Back or Tight End to block this defender out. We use this play as a compliment to the Power. Normally this is some sort of H Back or Tight End who will block down on the C Gap Player. We will use an extra blocker to handle this defender. Montana, Harry, Julie and Chris' dishes were deemed the best in their respective categories, and they earned the four spots in the immunity challenge.When all playside linemen are blocking down this leaves a defender unblocked in the playside C Gap. The Fans had the best entree and dessert, while the Favorites had the winning main. Teams were broken up into three smaller sections of four people who worked on each course the sections who cooked each of the winning courses will enter the immunity decider challenge. The 12 returning contestants were announced in a sneak peek on 23 March 2022. This continued until week 6 when the two teams were dissolved. Initially, instead of randomly chosen teams most team challenges at the beginning of the season featured contestants competing as members of either the Fans (new contestants) or Favourites (returning contestants) teams. All the other contestants then head into the All-In Elimination Challenge on Sunday. Wednesdays feature a Team Challenge with the winning team competing in the Immunity Challenge on Thursday, in which one contestant will be granted immunity from the upcoming elimination. Mondays now feature a Mystery Box with the bottom entries facing Tuesday's Pressure Test elimination. In this season, the typical MasterChef weekly format was slightly changed. Christina, Harry, Tommy, Billie, Michael, Sarah and Julie were the winners of the seven pins at various points during the season. The series featured more Immunity Pins handed out than any previous series, with seven being handed out in total. Like the previous season, the holders of an Immunity Pin were able to use them at any point during future Elimination Challenges. This season omitted the broadcast of the audition stage for the new contestants and started with the 24 contestants competing in an Immunity Pin Challenge.
